Questions people ask

Straight answers before you buy.

How does an automatic window cleaner work?

A vacuum motor pulls the robot flush to the glass. Two wheels carry it across the pane in a set pattern while a microfibre pad does the actual wiping. It stops on its own once the edges of the window are detected.

Will it leave streaks?

Streaking usually comes from a worn or overly wet cleaning cloth, not the machine itself, the same thing that happens cleaning by hand with a dirty cloth. Swapping in a fresh pad resolves it on every Eclene model.

Can it clean frameless windows?

The Air and Home are built for standard framed glass. The Pro and Max include frameless detection and can be used on glass without a frame.

What happens if the power cuts out?

Every model holds its suction on a backup battery if the mains supply drops: 20 minutes on the Air, 15 on the Home, and 40 on the Pro and Max. A rated safety rope is included as a second line of protection.

Do I need Wi-Fi to use it?

No. Every model runs from its remote control without any app or Wi-Fi connection. The Pro and Max also support app control over Bluetooth, but it's optional, not required.

How noisy is it?

Between 65 and 70dB depending on the model, roughly the level of a normal conversation.
